The HP Scholars Program

The HP Scholars Program is regulated by Hewlett Packard Company. Scholarships are awarded to minority students through this program. To qualify, candidates are required to be pursuing further studies in the following educational streams, computer science, electrical engineering and computer engineering. Jackie Robinson Foundation

Minority and black students are awarded scholarship worth $7500 through Jackie Robinson Foundation. It’s a need based scholarship, which is offered to aspiring students who can’t afford to bear the college expenses on their own. Mentorship programs are also run by this foundation to create more black leaders in the country. Interested candidates should apply for a four-year BA course from an accredited university. The scholarship amount can be used to bear the tuition fees, cost of books and other expenses that go with college studies.
